Kid's on First

The mission of Kids on First Baseball is to promote diversity, equity, and financial wellness by providing cost-free access to baseball training, equipment, mentorship, and life-skills development for underserved youth across the Richmond area — including Chesterfield, Henrico, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg.

We create a safe, inclusive space that fosters positive social interactions, builds academic, athletic, and financial literacy skills, and empowers our youth for success on and off the field.

Through partnerships with Major League Baseball (MLB), The Players Alliance, and A Long Talk, we also facilitate vital conversations on racial equity and systemic change, helping young athletes become not only better players but better citizens.
